Santo Domingo. - The Dominican Republic's Meteorology Institute (INDOMET) forecast that stable conditions will prevail this Monday over a large part of the national territory during the morning; however, weak and isolated rains are expected in specific coastal areas of the southeast and northeast; while, in the afternoon, these precipitations could extend towards the interior of the country, without ruling out Greater Santo Domingo. At night, the rains will continue in an isolated manner in provinces of the southeast, Central mountain range and northeast, due to a weak trough.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, in the early morning and the first hours of the morning, rains are expected in coastal areas of La Altagracia, El Seibo, Samaná, María Trinidad Sánchez, Espaillat and Puerto Plata. In the afternoon, the rains will be more frequent and will extend towards Hato Mayor, Gran Santo Domingo, among other nearby provinces. The temperatures will continue to be pleasant to cool at night, dawn and early morning, especially in mountainous areas and inland valleys, due to the time of year, where occurrences of fogs and mists are expected.
