Continue registration process in the National Electoral Congress of Fuerza del Pueblo

Santo Domingo, R.D. – The registration day for candidates for internal positions of the Fuerza del Pueblo, within the framework of the National Electoral Congress “Dr. Manolo Tavárez Justo”, continues to develop actively and organized, registering this Saturday an even greater participation than in the previous days. From the early hours of the morning, members and leaders of the party have presented themselves massively in the different premises enabled throughout the national territory, as well as in the National House of the party, located on Bolivar Avenue No. 101, corner Dr. Báez, in the National District, to formalize their registration to the different levels of internal direction This process, which is carried out in accordance with the Party Statute and the provisions of Law 33-18 on Parties, Groups and Political Movements, allows comrades to democratically and transparently run for leadership positions at both territorial and national levels. The registrations cover positions such as members of the Central Directorate, and provincial, municipal, district and constituency presidencies. Applicants must meet the requirements established in the Congress regulations, including: completing and signing the registration form, presenting a copy of their identity card and an updated certification of no criminal record. The documentation can be delivered at the corresponding premises, according to the applicant's demarcation. The registration period will remain open until Sunday, July 13th at 5:00 PM, at which time this key process within the National Electoral Congress will conclude. From all the provinces and regions of the country, a climate of order, enthusiasm, and participation has been reported, which consolidates the Fuerza del Pueblo as a political entity with high levels of organization and democratic commitment.
