INDOCAL delivers training certificates in international standards to 12 public institutions

Santo Domingo, R.D. – The Dominican Institute for Quality (INDOCAL), delivered certificates to public servants who successfully completed training programs in international management standards, within the framework of the first phase of the Quality Government Program. Participants were trained in the standards ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management; ISO 37001:2021 – Anti-bribery Management System; ISO 37301:2021 – Compliance Management System; ISO 31000:2018 – Risk Management and Quality Auditor with a focus on ISO 9001. You may be interested in: Dominican Institute of Quality (Indocal) In the act, the general director of INDOCAL, Néstor Julio Matos, highlighted the impact that this achievement represents for the institutional strengthening of the Dominican State. "Today we take a transcendental step in strengthening the public management of our country, where we recognize those who have successfully completed the training courses in international standards, an achievement that reflects the commitment to excellence, transparency and quality service to the citizenry, explained Matos.  Matos indicated that this is a milestone that marks the first phase of the Quality Government Program, in which 12 institutions participate. “Thanks to the decisive support of the Central Government, committed to efficiency, the modernization of processes and, above all, transparency in public administration,” Matos pointed out. The official said that, with this training, the foundations of a more reliable State are established, which places quality and integrity at the center of its management. He argued that it is not just about rules and standards, it is about building stronger institutions, capable of effectively responding to the needs of the citizenry and being accountable with responsibility and transparency. "The vision of this government's management has been clear: to strengthen institutionalism and ensure that each public service is synonymous with trust, efficiency, and commitment. You, upon receiving this certificate today, become protagonists of that change, multiplying agents of a culture of quality that will positively impact people's lives," Matos pointed out.

  • National Office for Seismic Evaluation and Vulnerability of Infrastructure and Buildings (ONESVIE)
  • Ministry of Education of the Dominican Republic (MINERD)
  • Export and Investment Center of the Dominican Republic (PRODOMINICANA)
  • Ministry of Agriculture
  • National Institute of Potable Water and Sewers (INAPA)
  • Program of Essential Medicines and Central Logistics Support (PROMESE/CAL)
  • General Comptroller's Office of the Dominican Republic (CGR)
  • Dominican Institute for the Prevention and Protection of Labor Risks (IDOPPRIL)
  • Northern Electricity Distribution Company, S.A. (EDENORTE Dominicana, S.A.)
  • Center for Industrial Development and Competitiveness (PROINDUSTRIA)
  • Corporation of the Aqueduct and Sewerage of Santo Domingo (CAASD)
