Santo Domingo. - The Dominican Republic's Meteorology Institute (INDOMET) forecast that we will have a sunny Monday with few clouds in almost the entire country. The weather conditions for the Dominican territory will remain without appreciable changes, as a result of a reduced moisture content in the air mass that covers us and the influence of an anticyclonic system, which generate a clear and sunny environment in almost the entire national geography.
Similarly, INDOMET highlighted that despite an optimal meteorological pattern prevailing in most provinces for outdoor activities, it is not ruled out that from early hours and during the morning, slight cloud increases with isolated showers of short duration may occur, especially in locations of Peravia, San Cristóbal, Santo Domingo, Azua, Barahona and Pedernales, due to the influence of the southeast wind. In the afternoon until the early hours of the night, the interaction of a weak trough with local effects (daytime heating and orographic), will cause some weak precipitation of short duration, in towns near the Caribbean coastal coastline, northeast region and Central Mountain Range.
Meanwhile, for tomorrow Tuesday, we will continue with a meteorological environment of good weather over the Dominican Republic, due to the presence of an air mass with little moisture content, which will lead to a clear and sunny sky in most of the country, however, the daytime heating, the local orography and the presence of a weak trough at several levels of the troposphere, will cause widely isolated showers in the afternoon, over communities of the Central Mountain Range.
The temperatures will be pleasant to cool at night and early morning, especially in mountainous areas and valleys in the interior of the country.
National District: partly cloudy at times with brief passing showers in the early morning hours. Then scattered clouds.
Santo Domingo Norte: Occasional cloud increases with isolated short-lived showers in the early morning hours. Then few clouds.
Santo Domingo Este: Cloudy increases with passing showers in the early morning hours. Then isolated clouds.
Santo Domingo Oeste: partly cloudy at times with isolated showers. In the afternoon, a mix of clouds and sun.
Minimum temperatures between 21 °C and 23 °C and the maximum between 30 °C and 32 °C.
Summary: A dry and stable weather pattern persists in most provinces, due to the influence of an anticyclonic system and the low moisture content in the air mass that covers us…isolated and passing showers in the morning hours, especially towards the towns near the Caribbean coast…Pleasant to cool temperatures at night and dawn…Normal maritime conditions.
Wednesday, an atmospheric pattern will prevail that is very suitable for outdoor activities, due to the presence of an atmosphere of limited humidity, but it is not ruled out that during the afternoon until the early hours of the night, the combination of the diurnal cycle with a weak trough, may cause slight cloud increases with widely isolated showers, especially in mountainous areas.
