“So far so good, it's starting well. It's the first time we've come, I don't have a point of comparison with previous years, but it's going well, people are approaching and I've sold some books. They tell me that sales usually grow throughout the fair, especially on the second weekend, when there is more foot traffic,” he indicated.

During a tour conducted by De Último Minuto, it was found that, despite the rains, the public attended in the afternoon to purchase books and enjoy the cultural activities offered by the fair. The first day of the event was suspended at midday due to inclement weather, but since Saturday it has maintained a stable schedule. This year the fair is dedicated to the Dominican historian Frank Moya Pons, and the prices of the copies range between RD$100 and RD$1,000. In addition to the literary offerings, visitors can access conferences, artistic presentations, and interactive spaces for children and young people, making the fair a platform for cultural and educational exchange that seeks to promote reading in all sectors of society.
