Barahona. – Agents of the Department of Investigation (Dicrim), in coordination with preventive units of the Southern Regional Directorate of the National Police, arrested a man in the act of committing a crime in the municipality of La Ciénaga, Barahona province, as part of the constant preventive interventions carried out in the area.
The detainee is Richard Esteban, who was found with a backpack containing approximately 180 grams of different narcotic substances, two scales, 12 contraband cigarettes, a communication radio, and the sum of 800 pesos in cash.

The arrested person will be referred to the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD) for the corresponding legal purposes.
