Hamas.- Hamas denounced this Saturday that the Israeli bombings on the Gaza Strip have not ceased and accused the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, of lying about reducing its offensive in the enclave, after the Islamist group agreed to release all the hostages under the conditions of the United States peace plan.
"The continuous bombing and massacres of the occupation expose Netanyahu's lies about reducing military operations against civilians," Hamas criticized in a statement.
The Palestinian group assured that the "savage" raids and bombings have caused the death of seventy people since Saturday morning and asked the international community to exert "all possible pressure to end the war of extermination and famine that the Gaza Strip has been going through for two years."
Another statement from the Gaza government (in the hands of Hamas) also denounced that Israel has "ignored the call for a ceasefire announced" by US President Donald Trump, as well as having ignored Hamas's "positive" response to his proposal for the peace plan.
The messages from the authorities in the strip arrived at the same time that Trump announced that Israel has agreed to an "initial withdrawal line" in Gaza and that said line has been shared with Hamas. The president asked the Islamist group to accept these conditions to allow for an "immediate" ceasefire that facilitates the release of hostages.

On the eve, Hamas expressed its willingness to release all captives, alive and dead, who remain in its power and to negotiate the rest of Trump's plan to end the war. Shortly thereafter, the US president demanded that Israel halt the bombings of Gaza "immediately". EFE noted that the aerial attacks did not cease in the Gazan capital, despite the Israeli press assuring that the Army had stopped its offensive to switch to a "defensive" mode.
