Iranian media such as the Tasnim agency reported explosions in the Persian country's capital. Since the joint bombing of Tehran by Israel and the US, which resulted in the death of more than 200 people, including the Iranian supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the offensive has not ceased. For its part, Iran has responded to the attacks with waves of bombings against Israel, where at least nine people have died, and against countries in the region allied with Washington and that host US military bases, such as Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, where three fatalities were recorded.
