After the match in which Inter Miami took two points (2-2 and 5-4 on penalties), Javier Mascherano, coach of the Florida team, announced on Saturday at the press conference that they were confident that Messi's injury was not serious.

"Leo felt a discomfort in his hamstring. We won't know the extent of the injury until tomorrow," said the coach. "He surely has something. Maybe it's not something so big because he wasn't in pain, but he did feel a discomfort," he added. Inter Miami has five points after two matches in the Leagues Cup and will close the first round this Wednesday with a match against Pumas UNAM, who also have five points.
