Dajabón. – The Dominican Republic Army (ERD), carried out several immigration interdiction operations in the province of Dajabón, managing to detain twenty-four (24) Haitian nationals in an irregular migratory condition.
The operations included the use of drone units and the deployment of ground patrols in rural areas of this border province.
In a first operation, sixteen (16) Haitian nationals were arrested, including seven (07) women, six (06) men and three (03) minors, who were detected in the Los Limones sector of the aforementioned province.

Subsequently, another group of eight (08) Haitian nationals of male sex was intercepted in the vicinity of the INAPA Tank, as part of the continuity of border surveillance and control operations.
All detained foreigners were transferred and handed over to the General Directorate of Migration (DGM) for the corresponding legal purposes, in accordance with current regulations.
