Valverde. - During a patrol carried out by soldiers of the Dominican Republic Army, using drone units, eleven (11) Haitian nationals in irregular migratory condition were detected and subsequently arrested in Valverde.
Undocumented foreigners were found hidden under banana plants on a farm located in the Municipal District of Ámina, in the municipality of Mao, in the aforementioned province.
The detainees, including three (3) men and eight (8) women, were transferred to the headquarters of the 4th Infantry Brigade of the ERD, located in Mao, from where they will be handed over to the General Directorate of Migration (DGM) for the repatriation process.

These operations are part of the actions continuously carried out by the Dominican Republic Army, aimed at reinforcing border control and national security throughout the institution's area of responsibility.
