Santo Domingo. - A woman with dual nationality (Bolivian and Spanish), who was about to leave the country with dozens of small bags presumably containing cocaine, in her digestive tract, attached to her chest and in her vagina, was arrested by agents of the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD) and members of the Specialized Airport Security Corps (CESAC), during joint inspection work at Las Américas International Airport (AILA-JFPG).
Coordinated by the Public Ministry, the operational teams approached the foreigner who would travel from that terminal to Paris, France and after carrying out the control process, foreign bodies were detected in her digestive tract and various parts of the body, proceeding to apply the action protocol.
By order of the acting prosecutor, the foreigner was transferred to the Central Hospital of the Armed Forces, where after several days and under the control of specialist doctors, the expulsion process concluded.

"The 22-year-old woman was carrying 40 small bags of the alleged drug attached to her bras, 97 packets in her stomach, as well as a portion in her vagina, for a total of 138 small bags, weighing approximately one kilo and 341 grams." The foreigner will be brought to justice in the coming hours, while the Public Ministry and the DNCD try to establish if there are others involved in the frustrated international drug trafficking operation. "These are criminal networks that recruit people of different nationalities to use them as drug mules to take drugs to the United States, Europe, and Canada." The small bags of the substance were sent to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF) for the corresponding purposes.
