San Salvador.– El Salvador continues to register progress in citizen security. January has already accumulated 20 days without homicides throughout the national territory, according to official statistics from the National Civil Police (PNC).
The institution reported, through its account on the social network X, that Saturday, January 24, concluded without registering violent deaths. "We finished Saturday, January 24, with 0 homicides in the country", published the PNC, highlighting a new day without murders in the context of the security policies implemented by the Government.
According to the authorities, these results are possible thanks to measures such as the exception regime and the Territorial Control Plan, strategies that have reinforced the police and military presence in communities historically considered vulnerable to crime.
The PNC also highlighted that the constant joint patrols between the National Civil Police and the Armed Forces have contributed to maintaining a social climate away from violence, steadily reducing crime rates.
