Valverde. – A jeep with eleven (11) Haitian nationals in irregular migratory condition was detained during an operation carried out by members of the Dominican Republic Army on #16 street in the municipality of Mao.
An ERD patrol intercepted the Jeep KIA Stony, black color, license plate G741348, driven by Alexander de Jesús Martínez Jiménez.
In the vehicle, six men, four women, and a minor were located. The driver was also found to have seven cell phones of different brands.
According to reports, those responsible for delivering the undocumented immigrants would be the ones nicknamed "COCO", "MAMO" and "GABY", alleged traffickers of Haitian undocumented immigrants belonging to a network called Asociación de Pueblo Nuevo de Mao.
