Naco Dorado IV remains calm after tragedy that left one dead and several injured

Santo Domingo.– An atmosphere of apparent tranquility reigns this Thursday in the Naco Dorado IV condominium, located in the Naco sector, after the tragic event that occurred yesterday Wednesday afternoon, in which a woman lost her life and five other people were injured at the hands of Jean Andrés Pumarol, a resident of the building.

Despite the impact caused by the violent event, no police presence is observed around the building, and activities within the condominium proceed normally.

The fatal victim was identified as Ivonne Handal Abugabir, 70 years old, while those injured include Teresa Fabián Heredia (caretaker of the deceased), Guillermo Pumarol (father of the aggressor), Francisco Texano, Griselda Fortuna, and Victoria Heredia. Jean Andrés Pumarol, 30 years old, who has a history of mental health, was arrested by the National Police and this Thursday was admitted to the Gómez Patiño Clinic due to complications from blood pressure.
