Azua.- President Luis Abinader and the executive director of the National Institute of Potable Water and Sewers (INAPA), Wellington Arnaud, inaugurated the expansion of the Azua aqueduct, the equipment of the new well field of this system, as well as the rehabilitation of the potable water treatment plant of the Sabana Yegua aqueduct, which will positively impact more than 88 thousand people.
With the delivery of these works, the promise of President Luis Abinader to guarantee an efficient service in every corner of the country is fulfilled.
In the case of the Azua aqueduct, with an investment of RD533,488,610.11, it includes a new well field, intake structure, and impulse line. According to what was explained, the work will also imply a saving of resources for the families that had to spend thousands of pesos monthly to acquire the liquid and be able to do their daily tasks."This delivery is a sample of the Dominican government's commitment to bring health and quality of life to its people," said the official.
