Santo Domingo.– Senator Lia Díaz highlighted the importance of building several bridges in different communities in the province of Azua, with the aim of preventing floods and protecting agricultural projects.
Díaz affirmed his commitment to manage that the necessary items for these works, considered essential for local development, be included in the next budget.
The legislator also emphasized the need for Azua to have a free zone. She recalled that during the government of former President Hipólito Mejía, one was built, which was sold in 2005 for a million dollars. "We are evaluating the option of finding a new plot of land for its construction, as this would generate jobs and boost the local economy," said Díaz.
