This extensive network of Prepaid charging points following a strategic agreement with Banco BHD

Santo Domingo. – The Empresa Distribuidora de Electricidad del Este (Edeeste) announced the expansion of its recharge network for Prepaid customers, after reaching an inter-institutional agreement with Banco BHD that will significantly increase the coverage and accessibility of this service within its concession area.

With this alliance, Edeeste strengthens its commitment to offer agile and convenient solutions through new points enabled for recharges and payments. The agreement incorporates a total of 551 post offices and 116 Banco BHD branches nationwide.

In the distributor's impact area, 184 post offices and 40 branches are specifically integrated, which represents a substantial increase in availability for Prepaid service users. Of those points, 30 post offices and 3 branches are located directly in sectors where this type of service operates.

For Edeeste, this initiative constitutes a relevant step within its strategy to improve service, through modernization and technological transformation, in which it has been promoting the development of its digital platforms so that customers can make inquiries, payments, recharges and reports from anywhere and remotely.

This expansion is added to the company's digital portfolio, which includes channels such as the web portal, the mobile application, business WhatsApp, digital commercial offices, and allied banking services.

The company stated that it will continue to promote solutions that allow greater access to its services regardless of the sector or location where customers reside. Likewise, it reiterated the importance of the timely payment of the service as part of the commitment and sustainability of the electrical system.

Edeeste highlighted that it will continue to strengthen its alliances and develop initiatives that contribute to raising the quality, efficiency, and availability of the service for users throughout its concession area.
