Villa González, Santiago. – A traffic accident occurred in this municipality, involving a woman and her daughter.
The affected individuals were identified as Kenia Ureña and her daughter Isabella, both residents of Gurabo, Santiago. According to preliminary information, mother and daughter were traveling from Puerto Plata when, allegedly, while trying to avoid being hit by a Caribe Tours bus, the driver decided to pull over, losing control of the vehicle and causing the accident, in front of "Plaza Arena Blanca"
Units from the National Emergency and Security System 9-1-1 arrived at the scene and provided immediate assistance to those affected. So far, no official details have been offered regarding the severity of the injuries or the final conditions in which they are.
The relevant authorities initiated investigations to clarify the exact circumstances of the event.
