The 21-year-old who died this Monday after falling from the fifth level of the parking garages of the Ágora Mall shopping center, had reportedly removed his belongings before falling into the void, which reveals an intention that these be preserved.
On the fifth level of the plaza, several cell phones, a wallet, and other belongings belonging to the young man were found, which he had intentionally left there before jumping, revealed a witness.
The content of those devices is unknown at the moment, as is whether there would be any message left on them, which is presumed to be the reason for leaving them intact.
Preliminary investigations by both the plaza's security team and the authorities handling the case suggest it was a suicide. To the General Directorate of Customs, an institution bordering the plaza, and where the young man's body fell, members of the National Institute of Forensic Sciences and the National Police quickly arrived to carry out the body's removal.
