Music flourished and vibrated in Medellin with the new edition of the Heat Latin Music Awards

Miami, FL. – The eternal spring took over the prelude to the HEAT LATIN MUSIC AWARDS in Medellin, with the grand carpet that kicked off this party that celebrated the successes of the moment and their creators before the world.

While La Segura, Moisés Salcé, Gabi Desangles, Alejandra Jaramillo and Daniela Arango, welcomed the artists in the pre-show broadcast, the great personalities paraded on the green carpet that perfectly completed the scenography inspired by Medellín and its tradition of artisans.

The hosts Marko, Caroline Aquino, María Laura Quintero, and Amanda Dudamel opened the party that brought together reggaeton, afrobeat, Dominican dembow, salsa, merengue, and regional Mexican and Colombian music on the same stage, to demonstrate once again the greatness and relevance of Latin culture in the world.

Hades 66, Luis Alfonso, Jessi Uribe and Kapo, were the first to jump on stage to raise the temperature of an unprecedented night for the local scene, which received not only important personalities and industry agents and the city like the mayor Federico Gutiérrez.

Nostalgia took over the Iván de Bedout Coliseum with the heartfelt tributes to the presence and contribution to the music of La India, Nelson Velázquez, Arelys Henao, and Alexis y Fido, who moved the audience by touching the most sensitive chords with their classics. The legacy of Rubby Pérez was one of the most anticipated musicals, El Blachy, the winner Eddy Herrera and Wilfran Castillo were in charge of gracing and resounding their hits to the heavens.

One of the HEAT moments of the night occurred when, for the first time, a lifetime achievement award was presented to a content creator for changing the way the digital universe is understood and continuing to adapt to it over the years. Thus, from the hand of Pipe BuenoLuisa Fernanda W became the first influencer to receive it.

Nanpa Básico, Beele, Farruko, Pipe Bueno, Yiyo Sarante, Nacho, Elena Rose, LIT killah, Jombriel, DFZM, Miguel Bueno, Juan Duque, Paola Jara, Francy, and Majo Aguilar were some of the performances that received an ovation from the attendees and provided the music for the broadcast, which featured more than 20 presenters from categories such as Mike Bahía, Venesti, SOG, Jhay P, among others, who were in charge of announcing the winners of the acclaimed HEAT awards.

One of the most anticipated shows was undoubtedly that of Yailin La Más Viral who, with a scene loaded with sensuality and dance, made “Bing Bong” resound throughout the place and performed her collaboration with Dj Adoni.

The party continues today with the HEAT Medellín Festival here everything blooms, which will present a lineup of more than 30 artists who will close a week of music, networking, and collegiality.
