Santo Domingo,.- The Emergency Operations Center (COE) placed the provinces of Santo Domingo, San Pedro de Macorís, Monte Plata, San Cristóbal and the National District on green alert, due to the increase in rainfall, due to a tropical wave advancing towards the country.

During the afternoon and night, a tropical wave will be located over the eastern portion of the country, favoring the increase in humidity. This will generate cloudy conditions with moderate to heavy showers, thunderstorms and wind gusts, with the possible occurrence of urban flooding.
