The Minister of Finance and Economy, Magín Díaz, developed a series of meetings with various associations and guilds of the national productive sector, with the aim of listening to their proposals and gathering contributions that contribute to the strengthening of the economy and the stability of public finances.

These meetings are part of the permanent dialogue agenda promoted by Minister Díaz, aimed at consultation, collaboration, and the search for consensus with the purpose of strengthening the country's economic stability and growth.

"The Government cannot face the complex challenges of the national economy alone; we need to listen to each sector and guild, and build together solutions that strengthen public finances, competitiveness and confidence in our economy," said Minister Díaz.

The official emphasized that this rapprochement process allows the Government's decisions to respond to the real needs of the economy and contribute to sustaining growth in an environment of trust and transparency.

Within the framework of this agenda, the head of the Treasury and Economy met with the Association of Non-Alcoholic Beverage Industries of the Dominican Republic (ASIBENAS), the Association of Builders and Housing Promoters (ACOPROVI), the Dominican Chamber of Construction (CADOCON), and representatives of Constructora Bisonó.

He also held meetings with the National Association of Herrera Companies and Industries (ANEIH), the Association of Vehicle Manufacturers Concessionaires (ACOFAVE), the National Association of Hotels and Restaurants (ASONAHORES), the Dominican Association of Hardware Importers (ADOIMFE), as well as with representatives of the insurance sector.

Representatives from the National Federation of Lottery Banks (FENABANCA) were also received.

The participating guilds and associations valued the minister's openness to listen to their proposals and expressed their support for the government's efforts to consolidate macroeconomic stability, promote investment, and enhance national competitiveness.

Meetings with sectors

This round of meetings is part of a broad agenda of outreach with different guilds and business organizations that the minister has held in recent weeks.

Previously, the official has also met with the Board of Directors of the National Council of Private Enterprise (CONEP), with leaders of the national business sector, with the National Organization of Commercial Enterprises (ONEC), with the National Directive of the Association of Industries of the Dominican Republic (AIRD) and with the Dominican Federation of Merchants, as well as with representatives of the MSME sector.
