More than 17 years in prison for teacher for sexually abusing three children in Ecuador

Ecuador.- An Ecuadorian court sentenced a teacher to seventeen years and four months in prison for sexually abusing three children aged 5 and 6, the Prosecutor's Office reported on Tuesday. On March 24th, the parents of the children at a school in the town of Sangolquí, in the province of Pichincha, reported that their children had been sexually abused by the teacher of the Neuromotor (physical activity) subject, "while 'checking' that they were wearing their sports uniform shorts," detailed the Public Ministry in a statement.
