Huellas del Siglo overcomes slump by defeating Bameso

SANTO DOMINGO.- Huellas del Siglo club came out of a slump by defeating Bameso 83-75 this Tuesday, to close the day this Tuesday in the continuation of the regular season of the 49 TBS Distrito 2025.

Huellas had three consecutive setbacks and with this victory improved their record to 2-4, although they remain in the last place of group A, on the other hand, the bamesians, who lost for the second time in a row, were matched by registering 3-3, as a member of group B, in which they occupy second place, below the leader San Lázaro who marks 4-1. The meeting took place
at the Ricardo -Gioriver- Arias Volleyball Palace, official headquarters of the TBS District 2025. The top scorers for Huellas were Anphernee Acevedo with 22 points and five assists, Miguel Miranda 11, the imported Emmanuel Egbuta achieved a double-double of 10 points with 11 rebounds, Juan Paez 10 and Darwin Cabrera contributed nine baskets and grabbed 10 balls. By Bameso, Luis Reynoso scored 15 points, seven rebounds and four assists, Fausto Pichardo and Miguel Simón 14 units each. The TBS District 2025 is organized by the National District Basketball Association (Abadina), chaired by Colonel (PN) Diego Pesqueira, and the Organizing Committee is headed by José Ignacio Paliza, Minister of the Presidency. This year's event is dedicated to the Dominican Sports Immortal Evaristo Pérez, former member of the national basketball team and former player of the San Carlos squad. Wednesday Games
The TBS District 2025 continues this Wednesday with two more matches in the sixth matchday of the intergroup phase, and twelfth overall, of the regular season of the total of 20 matchdays. At 7:00 PM, Los Prados club faces Rafael Barias, and at 9:00 PM, San Lázaro will clash against Mauricio Báez.
