María Corina Machado's message to the 81st General Assembly of the SIP: "Venezuela is getting closer to regaining freedom every day"

Punta Cana.- The Venezuelan opposition leader and Nobel Peace Prize laureate, María Corina Machado, took advantage of the 81st General Assembly of the Inter American Press Association (IAPA) to send a powerful message and assure that her country is experiencing "the most decisive juncture in its contemporary history." He affirmed that the Nicolás Maduro regime is currently living "in a parallel and fictitious reality", and that "Venezuela is getting closer every day to regaining freedom".

Machado, in her recorded message, thanked for the opportunity to address more than 200 editors from the Americas gathered at the SIP, to whom she said that she would surely "soon have the honor of receiving them" in Venezuela.
