His arrest occurred with the collaboration of the DGA and after an intelligence work of several months, the Attorney General's Office (PGR) reported this Friday. The arrested individuals are linked to a drug trafficking network that, in June of this year, had 60 packages of marijuana, a firearm, and cash seized during a raid at the Green Thomas Residential, in the Villa María, El Rosal sector. Upon entering the apartment, which served as a storage and packaging facility for drugs, the authorities located five suitcases, where they seized the packages of the plant, all wrapped in black plastic bags, with a preliminary weight of 61.1 pounds. For the case, registered in June of this 2025, several people are in prison, including Víctor Founder, leader of the international drug trafficking structure. According to the investigation, the network recruited people to bring marijuana from the United States, through the airports, to then distribute it in provinces of the Cibao region. The detainees will be brought to justice in the coming hours for violation of Law 50-88, on Drugs and Controlled Substances, while the Public Ministry and the DNCD deepen the investigations.
