SeNaSa reaffirms continuity and stability of its services for more than 7.4 million affiliates

Santo Domingo. – The National Health Insurance (SeNaSa) reported this Sunday that it continues to guarantee, without interruptions, all health services to the more than 7.4 million affiliates that make up its different regimes, through a wide and strengthened network of providers throughout the national territory. The institution explained that its current network is made up of more than 7,812 independent doctors, 301 clinics, 460 specialized centers, 147 laboratories, more than 50 imaging centers, 979 authorized pharmacies, 185 hospitals and 103 primary care centers. This infrastructure ensures timely access to consultations, diagnoses, specialized treatments, medications and procedures of all levels of care.

SeNaSa highlighted that this network of providers guarantees the continuity of high-cost treatments, surgeries, diagnostic studies, hospitalizations, emergencies, outpatient care, rehabilitation processes, and other essential services included in the coverage of affiliates. The institution reiterated that it continues to strengthen its internal processes to be more efficient, closer, and focused on offering a modern and reliable user experience. In this regard, it is advancing in the integration of new technological platforms that will allow for the streamlining of authorizations, the facilitation of self-service services, and the optimization of response times in areas such as the dispensing of medications. In the last three months, SeNaSa authorized more than 26 thousand services, for an estimated value that exceeds 19 billion pesos, reflecting a greater response capacity and the commitment to continuous improvement in the attention to its affiliates. "Ensuring access and peace of mind for our members is our priority. Our service does not stop and we are focused on serving more and better in favor of the health and protection of Dominican families," states a statement from the institution. SeNaSa reiterated that all affiliates can continue receiving their services in the usual network throughout the country, and assured that no ongoing treatment, procedure, or process will be affected, reaffirming its commitment to a safe, efficient, and constantly improving health service.
