Timothy Busfield will be released from jail on bail while facing charges of child sexual abuse

United States. – Actor and director Timothy Busfield, 68, was authorized by a court to be released from jail on bail while facing legal proceedings for charges related to child sexual abuse and criminal sexual contact with minors. The decision was made after a hearing in which the judge determined that the defendant could face the process on bail, under "strict supervision conditions", considering that there are sufficient measures to guarantee public safety and their appearance before justice.

Busfield was arrested in early January 2026, after a warrant was issued against him for alleged events that occurred during his professional participation in a television production. The actor has denied the accusations and maintains his innocence against the charges brought against him by the Prosecutor's Office.
