Through a message posted on his social network Truth Social, the president stated that he has ordered all available federal support to reinforce the investigation and achieve the safe return of the missing woman. “I spoke with Savannah Guthrie and let her know that I am directing ALL law enforcement to be with the family and that local authorities have full disposition in this case immediately”, Trump wrote. For her part, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt reported that both she and the president closely followed the press conference offered by Sheriff Nanos. Leavitt described the search as a "heartbreaking situation" and reiterated the federal government's commitment.
