Mental health and female leadership center "Being a Woman Today" panel

Santo Domingo. – In a context where social, professional, and emotional pressure on women continues to increase, the Centro Psyché Bienestar Emocional held the panel “Being a Woman Today: Well-being, Balance, and Purpose,” a dialogue space aimed at positioning women's mental health as an essential axis of personal development and sustainable leadership. The activity, held within the framework of International Women's Day, brought together prominent specialists from the medical, psychological, and business fields, as well as female leaders, professionals, and entrepreneurs interested in strengthening their personal and professional growth from emotional awareness and integral balance. The discussion was moderated by Viviana Robles González, a clinical psychologist and specialist in female entrepreneurship, who led a structured dialogue around the main challenges faced by contemporary women, including self-demand, work pressure, guilt associated with setting boundaries, and the need to integrate emotional well-being with professional success. For her part, Dr. Karla De Los Santos, a psychiatrist expert in anxiety and director of the organizing center, emphasized the importance of promoting prevention in mental health and moving towards the destigmatization of psychological care in women as part of a culture of conscious leadership. During the meeting, topics such as the body-mind connection, professional pressure, the redefinition of success, and the need to promote preventive mental health in women were addressed. The day concluded with an interaction space with the public and a special raffle thanks to the support of Laboratorios Camilo, Laboratorios Dr. Collado, Sesderma, and Centro Psyché Bienestar Emocional. The event brought together women from the community interested in their well-being and mental health, establishing itself as a close, educational, and transformative space that promotes emotional and personal growth.
