Arajet receives its 11th aircraft "Loma Quita Espuela"

The name is an initiative to promote the protected areas of the DR worldwide. Santo Domingo. - The Dominican airline Arajet received its 11th aircraft, named “Loma Quita Espuela”, in recognition of the company's commitment to environmental conservation and the promotion of the country's protected areas. The new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft joins Arajet's modern and efficient fleet, consolidating its expansion plan and its vision of connecting the Dominican Republic with more international destinations, while promoting Dominican natural heritage as part of its corporate social responsibility policy. During the welcoming ceremony, held at Las Américas International Airport (AILA), it was headed by Igor Rodríguez, general director of the Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation (IDAC), who highlighted the importance of initiatives like this for the sustainable development of aviation.

Víctor Pacheco Méndez, CEO and founder of Arajet, informed through his social media account that from July 24th this new aircraft will be flying and connecting the Dominican Republic with the more than 26 destinations where they fly in the American Continent.
