SÁNCHEZ RAMÍREZ.– The Colegiado Tribunal of Sánchez Ramírez sentenced this Monday Ammy Hiraldo Peña to 30 years in prison, after being found guilty of the murder of Yennely Andreyna Duarte, an event that occurred in March 2024 in the municipality of Cotuí.

The accusation was made by magistrates Tiburcio Gómez and Francis Valerio, representatives of the Public Prosecutor's Office, who managed to maintain the criminal responsibility of the accused before the court.After the sentence was known, numerous people who have closely followed the case expressed their satisfaction with the conviction, assuring that the decision restores some of the tranquility that Yennely Duarte's relatives had been demanding for months.
