Santo Domingo,.- The National Police, through the Central Intelligence Directorate (DINTEL) and tactical units, carried out a large-scale operation in the Capotillo sector of the capital, which resulted in the arrest of four people and the seizure of more than 400 portions of alleged controlled substances, slot machines, illegal cigarettes, adulterated alcohol, and gasoline.
The institution said this Saturday, through a note, that during the deployment several drug sales points were intervened, one of them linked to individuals identified by the nicknames 'Benjamin', 'El Beta' and 'Turo'.

Video surveillance cameras, cell phones, and other evidence associated with micro-trafficking were also seized. The detainees were identified as Santiago Jiménez Durán, Carlos José Rodríguez, Johan Adames Mercedes and Carlos Regalado. This operation is part of the strategic actions carried out by the National Police to combat micro-trafficking and other crimes in sectors of the National District.
