Santo Domingo.- The Dominican urban artist Vakeró is under medical observation after suffering a fall during a live performance. Although the singer initially downplayed the incident, this Friday his representative, Yannely E. Medina, informed through a statement that it was necessary to transfer him to a health center due to persistent head pain.
The accident occurred during a recent show, when the singer tried to jump into the audience, a common maneuver in his performances. Through his social media, Vakeró himself shared the video of the moment and assured he was fine, downplaying the event with a relaxed attitude.

"Thank God I'm fine, almost in the hospital, but nah. I always throw myself at the public and last night it got out of hand, but nothing serious. God and all my saints take care of me. Enjoy the fall; we're still here. Good day," the artist posted on his official account.
However, according to the statement issued by Medina, the situation changed hours later, when the singer began to present symptoms that prompted a more in-depth medical evaluation.
"On behalf of our artist Vakeró, we want to inform the entire public, family, and friends that, following the fall suffered the night before last, he is in a medical center undergoing the corresponding studies for safety reasons. Since 2 a.m. he has been experiencing a constant headache, so the doctors have recommended keeping him under observation," reads the statement published on the artist's social media.
The statement also notes: "We trust in God that it is nothing more than a situation of tension and not a trauma of greater severity. We sincerely appreciate everyone's concern, prayers, and affection. As soon as we have news about their state of health, we will communicate it to you in a timely manner."
The medical team reported that they are continuing to perform evaluations to rule out any complications arising from the impact. It has not yet been reported whether he will remain hospitalized or when he will resume his professional commitments.
In parallel to this situation, Vakero is working on the release of his new EP with the also Dominican rapper Mozart La Para, titled "Se Fue la Luz". In addition, he celebrates his recent Latin Grammy nomination for his collaboration with the rapper J Noa on the song "Sudor y Tinta", included in the album "Los 5 Golpes".
So far, no changes have been announced in his artistic agenda, although his team indicated that any decision in this regard will depend on the development of his health condition in the coming hours.
