SANTO DOMINGO .- Albert Abreu shone again from the mound and led the 1-0 victory of the Tigres del Licey over the Gigantes del Cibao, in a close duel played this Thursday at the Quisqueya Juan Marichal Stadium.

The right-hander once again showed his best version and added his second victory of the season, by working impeccably for six innings in which he allowed only three hits, struck out five and gave no walks. Abreu (2-4) completely limited the Francomacorisana offense to guide the second consecutive win of the blues against the Giants in the capital.
