Eddy Polanco and San Carlos cling to the top of Group A in their fifth win

SANTO DOMINGO.- Eddy Polanco had a solid offensive performance with 32 points for San Carlos to hold on to the top of group A by defeating San Lázaro, 105-99, as the curtain fell this Friday in the continuation of the TBS Distrito 2025 regular season.

The verdiamarillos secured their fifth win and third in a row, with only two losses, while stopping the lazareños' winning streak at three (5-2), who already have a guaranteed spot for the Elimination Phase as part of group B, after the Mauricio Báez club defeated El Millón 90-70 this Friday. Each group grants three spots to the Elimination Phase. The match between the "Saints" was held at the Ricardo -Gioriver- Arias Volleyball Palace of the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center, in the continuation of the intergroup match rounds.
