At least 20 people died this Tuesday due to a fire that spread in a seven-story building in Jakarta, where firefighters are searching for survivors, the Police reported this Tuesday.
In statements to journalists, the head of the Central Jakarta Police, Susatyo Purnomo, confirmed that 20 people died at the scene, which until 4:00 p.m. local time (11:00 GMT) had not been fully inspected due to smoke and high temperatures.
Among the deceased are five men and 15 women, including a pregnant woman, according to the Police.
