Chase and Numenosis will represent RD tonight in the Red Bull Batalla Centroamérica final

Santo Domingo. – Dominican freestylers Chase and Numenosis will represent the Dominican Republic tonight in the grand final of the Dominican Red Bull Batalla Central America 2026, which will be held in Santo Domingo with the participation of 16 MCs from different countries in the region. Both young people will make their debut in this instance of the prestigious international freestyle circuit, with the mission of defending the home against competitors from Panama, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador. Chase, whose real name is José Miguel Abreu, has around six years within the freestyle movement, five of them participating in formal competitions on stage, establishing himself as one of the emerging talents of the Dominican scene. For his part, Abdul Djalo Encarnación, artistically known as Numenosis, also accumulates about six years within the competitive circuit and has managed to stand out for his consistency, adding more than 100 battles won in his career within freestyle.

Both MC's are part of the new generation of Dominican improvisers seeking to keep the country on the regional freestyle map, in a movement that in recent years has gained greater visibility in Central America and the Caribbean. The winner of the competition will get a direct pass to the Red Bull Batalla International Final 2026, which will be held on April 11th in Santiago, Chile. There, they will face the 16 best Spanish-speaking freestylers from countries like Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Argentina, Chile, Central America, and South America. If they win the title, Chase or Numenosis would join the Dominican Éxodo Lirical, who already has his spot secured for the international event, where the main exponents of freestyle in Spanish will meet. The regional final promises a night of high-level competition, where the metrics, wit, flow, and improvisational skills will define who will lift the Central American belt and advance to the international freestyle stage.
