The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the euro for this Monday, February 23, 2026, as follows:
In financial institutions, the buying rate of the euro was RD$71.18, while the selling rate reached RD$75.75.
These values represent a variation (appreciation of the weight against the euro in the short term) of 0.66% in the purchase and 0.50% in the sale compared to the previous day.
However, looking at the long-term picture, the European currency shows an accumulated depreciation of approximately 11.26% in buying and 11.52% in selling compared to a year ago.
For their part, remittance and exchange agents reported slightly different quotation levels. The buying rate was set at RD$72.02 and the selling rate at RD$74.27.
In this sector, the adjustment compared to the previous day was smaller, with variations of 0.23% and 0.12% respectively.
