New York.- Google launched this Thursday a new artificial intelligence (AI) tool for Gmail capable of synthesizing long email chains, as well as an advanced function that allows users to "dialogue" with their inbox to locate specific data using natural language.
"Just like in Google's Search, AI Summaries turn information into answers without the need to search manually. When you open an email with dozens of replies, Gmail synthesizes the entire conversation into a concise summary of the key points," explains Google in a statement.
This new tool is available starting today for all accounts, at no additional cost. However, the function of asking questions to the inbox with "AI Summaries" is only available to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers, which cost $19.99 and $249.99 per month respectively.
