Lawmakers are expected to continue working to pass important projects before the end of the current legislature, scheduled for January 12.

Projects such as the Labor Reform whose final report has not yet been submitted by the permanent labor commission of the Chamber of Deputies and the reform to the Law on Freedom of Expression and Audiovisual Media, which is navigating an uncertain scenario in the Senate.

It is worth noting that some congressmen have assessed the legislative year as "productive," highlighting the approval of transcendental laws such as the Penal Code and the Criminal Procedure Code, updates that are in line with current times by introducing new criminal offenses.

With the resumption of work, the National Congress enters a decisive stage, in which it must accelerate the knowledge and dispatch of pending initiatives, amid expectations from different social sectors that demand consensus and concrete results before the end of the current legislature.
