The president of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, assured this Wednesday that if the European Union (EU) decides to further delay the trade agreement with Mercosur and it is not signed next Saturday, "there will be no more agreement", at least while he is governing in Brazil.
"I already warned that, if it's not now, Brazil will not make any more agreements (with the EU) while I am president," Lula declared at the end of a meeting with members of his cabinet, in which he warned that if it is not signed "now", he will be "tough" with the community bloc.
