BOSTON, USA. - Mayor Junior Peralta, from the municipality of Nagua, María Trinidad Sánchez province in the Dominican Republic, was chosen as international grand marshal in the Dominican Parade in Boston, Massachusetts.
Peralta was crowned as such and had an active participation in the activity representing the municipality of Nagua and the province of María Trinidad Sánchez, accompanied by the mayors of Boston, Michelle Wu and Brian Depeña, of Lawrence, along with other local and Dominican authorities who were also at the event.
Similarly, prior to Sunday's parade; on Saturday the 16th, a meeting of Nagueros and provincials was held in Lawrence, where Peralta was also recognized by said city and the organizing committee.
The Dominican Day in Boston is a colorful activity filled with joy, music, and a display of culture, folklore, and everything that identifies Dominicans.
This was a full house, touring streets and avenues of the city of Boston, culminating in Franklin Park with multiple artistic presentations.

This activity is organized every year by Casa de la Cultura Dominicana in Boston and this year had a special dedication to the province. Governor Amada López, deputies Jorge Cavoli, Stalin Vásquez and Sonia Núñez, senator Alexis Victoria, the Vice Mayor of Nagua, Pamela Gerónimo and the mayor Río Dan Juan, stand out among the figures who were present, along with dozens of other provincials.
