About Morality, Civics and Citizen Ethics
The subject of Morality, Civics, and Citizen Ethics is part of the curriculum at all levels of the pre-university education system, both public and private, starting from the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year, following the approval of Ordinance 02-2025. This measure is part of the Government's efforts to strengthen values and responsible citizenship education, and responds to the commitment to a comprehensive education that strengthens civic values, promotes coexistence, and prepares students to be positive agents in society. As part of this subject, the Ministry of Education launched last November the youth volunteer program Agentes al 100, created so that students can put into practice what they have learned in Moral, Civics and Citizen Ethics.
