A Russian military court on Tuesday sentenced two minors and two other teenagers who turned 18 in detention to between 6 and 7 years in prison for terrorism.
The Second Eastern Military Court sentenced four teenagers from Khakassia to prison for terrorism for damaging two fuse boxes on a railway section and for attempting to set fire to a locomotive last year.
"The fourth minor, knowingly and willingly, provided access to her bank card, which was subsequently used to purchase materials to set fire to the relay boxes on May 2, 2024," the Investigative Committee reported via Telegram.

The police-judicial body maintains that the minors acted on the instructions of an unidentified third party in exchange for financial compensation, so it is suspected that it may be Ukrainian intelligence. The damage to the relays is valued at 55,000 rubles ($700). Today, the Instruction Committee also reported other arrests. A 17-year-old was arrested in the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad for attempting to commit a terrorist attack against an Orthodox church in the enclave "in support of the policies of the Kiev regime," the statement said. Russian authorities claim the teenager was acting on orders from Ukrainian intelligence when he was arrested on November 22.On the other hand, two other minors were arrested in the Perm region, who, likewise, for terrorism and acting on the orders of a third party, were trying to set fire to a transformer substation in an industrial area at the time they were arrested by the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB).
