Santo Domingo.- The Princess Leonor de Borbón spoke for the first time on a Spanish radio program while in the Dominican Republic, as the final part of her instructional trip aboard the Juan Sebastián de Elcano training ship.

His radio debut was on the program "Españoles en la mar" of Radio Exterior de España, a space dedicated for 40 years to topics of fishing, marine resources, navigation, oceanographic research, naval history, the merchant marine and recreational boating.

"Greetings from the Dominican Republic to all the Spanish men and women who work at sea, and I congratulate Radio Exterior for those 40 years in which they have listened to and assisted all those professionals in their program "Españoles en la Mar" (Spaniards at Sea). There are many compatriots who dedicate their lives to fishing, the merchant marine, port infrastructures, oceanographic research, recreational boating, the care of marine resources and, of course, naval military training.
