With a distributed offense and despite the absence of their main scorer, Devin Booker, who remains out with a groin injury, the Suns defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves, who were coming off a five-game winning streak, 108-105.

Mark Williams led the attack with 22 points, becoming one of six Phoenix players to finish with double figures in scoring. For Minnesota, Anthony Edwards shone by scoring 40 points, although his performance was not enough to avoid defeat.

In another exciting match, the San Antonio Spurs defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 135-132 as visitors. The Texan team continues without its star Victor Wembanyama, who remains out due to a left calf strain, already with 11 games absent. With these victories, the Suns (14-10) and the Spurs (16-7) come with momentum to their respective quarterfinal duels:
  • San Antonio vs. Los Angeles Lakers
  • Phoenix vs. Oklahoma City Thunder, team with the best record in the league (23-1) and a current streak of 15 consecutive victories.
