Trump threatens "retaliation" for attack on the U.S. Embassy.

The U.S. President, Donald Trump, promised to announce promptly response measures to the recent drone attack against the North American country's Embassy in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, as well as to the death of American soldiers amid the escalation in the Middle East. "I just spoke with President Trump. He said that retaliation will be known soon for the attack on the US Embassy in Riyadh and for the US military personnel killed," wrote on X the News Nation White House correspondent, Kellie Meyer. "He also told me that he doesn't think it will be necessary to deploy troops on the ground," she added.

Previously, it was reported that the United States Embassy in Riyadh was attacked by two drones. According to initial estimates, the attack caused "a limited fire and minor material damage to the building".

Meanwhile, the United States Central Command (Centcom) announced this Tuesday that the total number of casualties among U.S. soldiers in the Middle East has risen to six since the beginning of the aggression against Tehran.

Climbing in the Middle East

  • The Israeli Ministry of Defense announced on Saturday morning the launch of a "preventive" attack against the Islamic Republic of Iran to "eliminate threats to the State of Israel."
  • Later, US President Donald Trump, confirmed that Washington's forces had joined the aggression against the Persian country.
  • In response, Iran launched several waves of ballistic missiles towards Israel, as well as against bases of the United States located in Middle Eastern countries.
  • During the joint offensive of the US and Israel against the Persian country, died the supreme leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Subsequently, Tel Aviv assured that the assassination of Khamenei was the result of an attack by its air forces against the command complex in Tehran.
