New York.- A group of Dominican students residing in New York will begin an academic visit to the Dominican Republic tomorrow. The activity aims to strengthen cultural and educational ties between the Dominican diaspora and the country.
During their stay, the young people will participate in meetings with educational authorities, tours of academic institutions, and visits to historical places. In addition, their participation in talks and workshops aimed at professional and cultural development is planned.
The initiative seeks to give students a close look at the social and educational reality of the Dominican Republic, fostering their identity and sense of belonging to the country of origin of their families.
